EPIC v. FTC Federal Trade Commission FTC Google privacy
EPIC Appeals Court Ruling in Google Privacy Case
Within hours after a federal court in Washington, DC ruled that it could not require the Federal Trade Commission to enforce a consent order against Google, EPIC filed an emergency appeal with the Court Appeals for the DC Circuit. EPIC has asked the appellate court to overturn the lower court decision before March 1, when Google will change its terms of service and consolidate user data without consent.
